The My Layouts section in the Event Planner Backend offers an organized overview of all your saved 2D and 3D event layouts. This feature allows event teams to conveniently access visual arrangements of venue spaces and share them with clients, vendors, or internal teams using direct links.
Whether you're designing seating charts or showcasing spatial setups, this tool keeps all layout versions readily available and shareable in just a few clicks.
To begin managing your layouts:
Navigate to the left-hand navigation panel and click on My Layouts.
The screen is divided into two segments:
My 3D Layouts: Shows immersive spatial plans.
My 2D Layouts: Displays traditional top-down diagrams.
Each entry contains:
Layout Name: Often indicates the property, location, and configuration (e.g., Theater, Cluster, Cabaret).
Property/Venue: The associated event venue or hotel.
Created On: Date the layout was saved or converted.
View Details: Allows quick access to the full layout.
Share: Enables link generation for external viewing.
Remove: Deletes the selected layout from your records.
To share a layout:
Click the Share icon beside the layout you wish to send.
A popup titled Share A Link will appear.
Select the URL Validity period from the dropdown (such as 1 day, 7 days, etc.).
Click Generate Link. A unique, time-limited link is created which can be copied and shared externally.
This is especially useful when you want to provide venue teams or clients with access to layout visuals without granting full backend access.
The My Layouts feature keeps all your spatial planning assets centralized and easy to manage. With the ability to quickly access, update, and share layouts:
You avoid redundant redesigns.
Clients and vendors gain clarity on setup expectations.
Collaboration becomes faster and more visual.
