The Booking Calendar is an interactive, drag-and-drop style tool that allows hoteliers to manage event bookings, block specific dates, and track venue space availability — all in one place. It's designed to make scheduling straightforward, ensuring your team always has a real-time view of bookings, whether they’re confirmed, tentative, or canceled.
On the left-hand control panel of the Spalba dashboard, select the “Booking Calendar” tab. This opens a full calendar view, showing booked dates, spaces, and event details at a glance.
Select a Date
Click on any available date in the calendar.
Choose a Venue Space
From the dropdown, pick the specific space (e.g., Ballroom, Lounge, Conference Hall) you want to book.
Enter Booking Details
Fill in event-specific details like:
Event Name (e.g., “XYZ Wedding” or “Corporate Dinner”)
Start & End Date
Start & End Time
Booking Type (Tentative, Confirmed, Cancelled)
Booking Nature (Full-day or Slotted)
Save the Entry
Once all fields are filled, hit “Submit” to lock the date. The booking now appears on your calendar with a visible tag and status color.
One-Click Visibility
Easily track which spaces are booked, blocked, or available — in real-time.
Avoid Double Bookings
With clear calendar indicators, you minimize booking conflicts or overlaps.
Team Collaboration
Anyone with access can view and update the booking status — making coordination between sales, operations, and front desk effortless.
Event History
The system retains historical data, letting you revisit past events or measure occupancy trends over time.
