The Measurement Tool in Spalba's Digital Twin is a powerful feature that allows users to take precise, real-time measurements within any 3D venue space. It’s built to help event planners, designers, and vendors accurately plan layouts without the need for physical access to the venue.

This tool is especially useful for understanding spatial arrangements, such as:

  • Distance between tables

  • Aisle widths

  • Stage-to-audience gaps

  • Door clearances or pillar placements

  • Setup fit for props, branding, or décor

    How to Use the Measurement Tool

    1. Notes
      Access the Digital Twin:

      Begin by entering the 3D walkthrough view of any venue that has a Digital Twin activated.

      Locate the Measurement Icon:

      On the right-hand toolbar (or bottom, depending on layout), click on the‘Measurement Tool’ icon. It typically looks like a ruler or a line with endpoints.

      Click to Start Measuring:

      Click once on your starting point — this could be a wall, floor corner, table edge, or any object in the space.

      Click Again to Complete:

      Move your cursor to the end point and click again. The tool will display theexact distance between the two points in real time (usually in feet/meters, depending on your settings).
