Spalba’s Dollhouse View helps you explore an event venue as a fully interactive 3D model — giving you a complete top-down view of the entire space. Whether you’re planning an event or just browsing venue options, this view gives you a better understanding of how the space is structured, all from your screen.
Start by opening the 3D virtual tour of a venue.
If you're a registered user:
Log in to your Spalba dashboard
Go to the venue listing you're working on
Click ‘View in 3D’ or ‘Digital Twin’ to enter the virtual space
If you're an unregistered or first-time visitor:
You may see an interactive preview embedded directly on the venue profile page
Click into the virtual tour to begin exploring
This opens up a realistic, walkable version of the venue that feels like a site visit — but online.
Look for the ‘Dollhouse’ icon in the tour viewer toolbar — it usually looks like a small house or cube. Click on it to change your perspective.
This mode shrinks the entire venue into a 3D miniature model, letting you see the full structure — just like looking at a real dollhouse with the walls removed. You’ll immediately see how all rooms are connected and where each space is located.
Once you’re in Dollhouse View:
Zoom in to see specific sections in detail
Zoom out to get a bigger picture
Rotate the model left, right, up, or down
Pan around to move across the property
You can use your mouse, touchpad, or screen gestures depending on the device you’re using. This helps you find ideal spaces for your event and understand how guests will move from one area to another.
If the venue has multiple floors, you’ll see options to toggle between them — either through a dropdown or floor-level buttons.
This is especially useful for larger venues like:
Hotels with ballrooms and breakout rooms
Convention centers with stacked floors
Multi-purpose venues with terraces or basements
You’ll be able to understand the layout of each floor separately, while still seeing how they connect in the overall structure.
Whether you're booking a venue or showcasing one:
You get a complete spatial understanding of the property
It replaces the need for early-stage site visits
Helps planners, clients, and teams align visually
Makes your decision-making faster and more confident
